My name is Henrietta Fox Nebel but please just call me Heidi like everyone else (nicknames welcome!) I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana (my family's all fine) but have lived in Seattle for the last 8 years and love it here! I love food, cooking and the amazing intricacies of the human body so when I first came to the Tummy Temple I knew this job was for me. I was literally grilling Suzanna (another therapist here) about job openings while I was on the table! I have a biology BS from Indiana University and plan to attend Bastyr University beginning fall 2006 to obtain my Masters in Nutrition (I'm working on pre-requisites now.) I believe in the innate wisdom of the human body and that healing is Always possible. I have second degree Reiki training and a keen interest in the mind/body connection that invariably affects us all. In my free time I play keyboard and sing in my super-fun-tastic band Sugar Skulls while also making rad stencil art with my friend Brandell Steinman (I'll keep people updated on shows for both.) I have to say I have never had a job that feels so right! It is endlessly interesting, challenging and it just makes me feel good to help people have a happy belly!
